Bruce Campbell Rant for Victoria's Birthday!

Somebody on FB said that I need to watch "Man With The Screaming Brain " and it made me think...

I don't know if I'll ever meet Bruce Campbell but if I do, I'm going to ask him if he got ninja fucked (sorry, "Dog Park" reference. It's an awful movie, BTW, don't watch it!) by the lady in the blue dress from the 1983 interview.

Did you ever do that, make a list of the questions you'd ask particular famous people?

I think I got the idea from that old, weird show on CBC*, where Pierre Berton (A great Canadian "hero" and well-known pot advocate) would interview a famous historical person from Canadian history and they'd get some very famous stage actors to portray the historical figures.

And I always thought that it was interesting that they could find people that look like our money. (Their "Sir John Eh" was particularly striking, if I remember correctly, a dead ringer!)

And that it would be a good thing to make a list of questions to ask famous people.

Because as a kid, you don't really separate the two things, Hollywood and History, that is. Because, as we all know, in modern times, "History is Hollywood and Hollywood is History". (Well at least that's the way it feels if you live in North America!)

Anyhow, for whatever reason (well, actually, because I always thought I'd be a Time Traveller when I "grew up***"), I started a mental list of questions to ask famous people should I ever happen to meet them and like ya...

...I don't know if I'll ever meet Bruce Campbell, but if I do, that's what I'm going to ask him.

*That I can't remember the name of, and may not even be hosted by Pierre Burton, but which led to the discovery of this funny interview, which, considering the FB** status I posted earlier this morning is pretty darn funny!

**Written before the discovery of "THE Bruce Lee Interview": Still hasn't watched "My Name Is Bruce ", but that could be due simply to confusion created by watched a marathon of "They Call Me Bruce? " and "They Call Me Bruce? " on VHS when young...

***Which, thankfully, as of this post, has never happened! (The "growing up" part, that is, not the time travelling part, which I'm still hopeful about!")

Something Different

One of the things that we're all about at Say It Phree is supporting young artists, so when a young man from France contacted me on Phacebook and asked if I could help advertise his cool folk music, I said "Sure!"

So please, check out our buddy on MySpace Music! Thanks!

How long will she have to wait for a prince to awaken her with "The Kiss of True Love™"?
